combatwings xr slope glider
After I made my first trip to the Frankfort Slope, I knew I had to get my hands on a slope-combat wing. After a little online research, I settled on the Combat Wings XR slope glider.
This is a great little plane it is very light, very tough, and very agile. The roll rate on this thing is fantastic, and overall it is very maneuverable. It’s a real challenge to knock this thing out of the sky. As far as dynamic soaring goes, this thing is a great slow trainer. Bruce, Ken and I did some combat while doing slow DS laps, and this thing couldn’t be knocked out of the sky! Lots of fun.
